1. Post Name: Professor

Salary: 1,44,200-2,18,200/-, AL-14
Educational Qualification (A or B):

(A)
    (i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, & published work of high quality, engaged in research(actively) with evidence of published work with, a min(minimum) of 10(ten) research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC(University Grants Commission)- listed journals & a total research score of 120(one hundred & twenty) as the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.
    (ii) A minimum of 10(ten) years of teaching experience in university or college as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor and/or research experiences at equiv(equivalent) level at the University or National Level Institutions (having successfully guided doctoral candidate with evidence).

OR
(B)
    An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) degree in the relevant &/or allied &/or applied disciplines from any academic institutions (not included in A above) or industry, who has made contribution(significant) to the knowledge in the concerned &/or allied &/or relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided she or he has experience of 10(ten) years'.

2. Post Name: Associate Professor

Salary: 1,31,400-2,17,100/-, AL-13A
Educational Qualification:
    (i) A Good academic record, with a Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
    (ii) A Master's Degree(PG) with at least 55%(fifty five) marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
    (iii) A minimum of 8 (eight) years of experience of teaching &/or research in an academic/ research position equiv(equivalent) to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a min(minimum) of 7 (seven) publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC(University Grants Commission)- listed journals & a total research score of 75 (Seventy five) as per the Appendix II, Table 2 given criteria.

3. Post Name: Assistant Professor

Salary: 57,700-1,82,200/-, AL-10
Educational Qualification (A or B):
(A)
    (i) A Master's degree with 55%(fifty five) marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equiv(equivalent) degree from an accredited foreign university.
    (ii) Besides fulfilling the above Educational Qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the UGC (University Grants Commission) or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC(University Grants Commission), like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards & Procedure for Award of M. Phil(Master of Philosophy) /Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 & their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET(National Eligibility Test)/SLET(State Level Eligibility Test)/SET(STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST).

    Note: NET(National Eligibility Test)/SLET(State Level Eligibility Test)/SET(STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST) shall also not be required for such Masters programmes in disciplines for which NET(National Eligibility Test)/SLET(State Level Eligibility Test)/SET(STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST) is not conducted by the UGC(University Grants Commission), CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC(University Grants Commission), like SLET(State Level Eligibility Test)/SET(STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST).

(B)
    The Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy) degree has been obtained from a foreign university or institution with a ranking among the top 500(five hundred) in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any 1 (one) of the following:
    (a) Quacquarelli Symonds(QS) or
    (b)Times Higher Education (THE) or
    (c) Academic Ranking of (ARWU)World Universities of the (SJTU)Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).

Age Limit: For Assistant Professor: Not above 38(thirty eight) years of age as on 16-November-2020 (upper age is relaxable by 5(five) years for ST/ SC candidates).
